Mix the best parts of punk with the dirtiest rock ‘n’ roll, add a shot of stoner groove and a face full of ear-bleeding noise... you are listening to Fangs!

A three piece rock band from Melbourne. Forming in 2009 Fangs members are Tim Smyth, Mack Daniels, and Doggy. The next year and a half was spent recording, playing shows and establishing a reputation within the local scene as a tight thrash punk rock outfit that knows how to party and bend your ears at the same time. Within a matter of months this reputation earned Fangs support slots for bands such as Them Crooked Vultures and a slot at 2010's Another World festival. Never ceasing to impress, Fangs had critics raving. With statements like: “Demanding instant crowd respect with their true rock qualities... FANGS won over the entire room”; "A meritorious punk-thrash outfit... they play with conviction, commitment & vitality, and are robust players, attuned to the anarchic elements"; “Great presence and totally dominated the stage… they showed that their spotlight won't be dying anytime soon”,* it’s clear to see why all eyes should be on Fangs.

Alongside extensive hometown shows and several east-coast runs, 2010 saw the independent release of Fangs self titled double A side single containing two tracks from their upcoming album, ‘One Punch’ and ‘Rain’. A limited edition, hand numbered disc, the release assaults your ears with a dose of shredding guitars and the big noise you can expect from Fangs. With the move from a four piece to three, Fangs is set to self-release 2010’s tracks, collectively titled "The Junkyard’, which will be followed by a reckless nationwide tour.
